Students in the Black Hawk College Equine Program are hosting three youth Equestrian Clinics at the Black Hawk College East Campus. The clinics are on October 15th and 29th, 2024, and November 12th, from 5 to 6:30 PM. Youth riders will be paired with a BHC student and get a 45-minute lesson with a college-owned horse and two educational labs. Participants must be at least 9 years old to participate in the riding portion of the clinic. Proper boots (with a heel), jeans, and a helmet are required to participate. The cost is $50 per student per clinic, with 11 spots per clinic.
