Black Hawk College is celebrating a remarkable milestone with the 50th anniversary of its esteemed Equine Program. Adding to the festivities, the college’s Horse Judging Team has clinched the title of Congress Champions at the All-American Quarter Horse Congress. Under the guidance of Coach Aaron Callahan, the team, including standout students Abby Cash, Karley Kramer, Breanna Lafary, Hannah Miller, Gabby Olson, Payton Podmolik, and Kayla Simpson, soared to victory, securing first-place wins across all categories: Halter, Performance, and Reasons. This triumph highlights their dedication and expertise in the equine field, setting a high bar for future competitors. Congratulations to the entire team on their stellar achievement!
