The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2257, in conjunction with the City of Galesburg, will host a Veterans Day ceremony on November 19, 2024, at 1001 Michigan Avenue. The event, scheduled from 8:00 to 8:30 AM, will feature remarks by VFW Commander Robert Horton, Galesburg City Council members, and State Representative Daniel Swanson. A financial contribution to VFW Post 2257 will be presented by Councilman Wayne Dennis. Breakfast will be available starting at 7:45 AM.
