The Kewanee Public Library District is calling on the creativity of its patrons as it prepares to celebrate a major milestone. As the library approaches its 150th birthday in 2025, a unique ‘Design A Bookmark’ contest has been launched. Both youth and adults are encouraged to participate by picking up a design form from any library service desk. The community will have the chance to vote on their favorite designs, with winners seeing their bookmarks printed and distributed throughout the anniversary year. Entries are due by November 30th, with voting slated for December. This contest not only commemorates the library’s historic occasion but also fosters community involvement and creativity.
