The Kewanee Volleyball Team celebrated a memorable end to their season with an awards banquet honoring exceptional players. Standout varsity athlete Macee Pickering secured multiple accolades, including Most Assists, Most Aces, and Most Kills. Claire Taylor was awarded for her defensive prowess with Most Digs, while Damaris Diaz got Most Blocks. Katy Carton received the Boilermaker Spirit Award for embodying the team spirit.
The celebration also spotlighted achievements in the younger squads. The sophomore and freshman teams shone with players like Bailey VanWinkle and Charlotte Paxton, respectively receiving key recognitions in kills and offensive skills. The event wasn’t just a celebration of victories but a nod to the bright future of Kewanee Volleyball.
