Colson Welgat Signed Letter of Intent to Play Baseball at Spoon River College

In a celebratory moment for Kewanee High School, senior Colson Welgat has committed to continuing his baseball career at Spoon River College in Canton, Illinois. A standout infielder, Welgat has been a key player for the KHS baseball team, starting varsity since his sophomore year and earning a spot on the Three Rivers Conference All-Conference Baseball 1st team for the past two years. The signing ceremony included Colson’s family and coaches, marking a proud day for Kewanee Athletics. This next step promises new opportunities for Welgat as he advances both his athletic and academic pursuits at Spoon River College.
