At 9:36 a.m on Monday, The Walnut Fire Department responded to a mutual aid call for a grain bin entrapment. Using grain bin rescue equipment the rescue crews were able to free the patient. The patient was able to climb out of the bin on his own, and was transported to the nearest hospital as a precaution.
Crews from Ohio Fire Department, Princeton Fire Department, and officers Lee County Sherriff’s Office responded to the scene.
