In LaSalle County, a Montgomery man has been arrested for threatening a public official. Joseph J. Urso, 50, has been arrested on charges of threatening a public official and intimidation; both are Class 3 felonies. The arrest follows an investigation into threats made to a judge of the 13th Judicial Circuit. Urso is currently held at LaSalle County Jail, awaiting a detention hearing.
The incident remains under investigation by the LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division and the LaSalle County State’s Attorney’s Office.
