The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is reaching out to the community with a heartwarming initiative called Operation Sheriff’s Angel Tree. This special project aims to brighten the Christmas season for children of incarcerated parents. With 17 young beneficiaries this year, the Sheriff’s office is encouraging locals to select a child’s name from the Angel Tree in their lobby and provide at least a $25 gift card from retailers like Walmart or Target. These gifts, a gesture of love and happiness, will be given on behalf of the parents and the Sheriff’s Office, helping to maintain important family bonds during challenging times. Contributions will be accepted at the front desk at the Sheriff’s Office, uplifting spirits and strengthening community ties.
