In light of heart disease being the primary cause of death nationwide, the Henry and Stark County Health Departments, in conjunction with First Choice Healthcare, are offering monthly CPR Certification Classes. These vital sessions are aimed at teaching individuals how to manage breathing and cardiac emergencies across all age groups. As the American Heart Association says, “Learn to save a life, learn CPR.  The Life you SAVE could be that of a loved one.” Each class covers crucial skills, including the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and emergency response techniques. Held on the fourth Tuesday of every month at 110 N. Burr Blvd., Kewanee, classes are from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, costing $45 each. Early registration is recommended due to limited spaces.
