Trooper Clay Carns Remembered for His Dedication to Service and Family

The community and law enforcement are coming together to honor the late Trooper Clay Carns who tragically lost his life on duty on December 23, 2024. Remembered as a hero both at home and in his service, his family and friends recall him as a man of purpose who loved deeply and served with pride. Trooper Carns leaves behind his wife Meghan and children Gray and Ally. Visitation services for Trooper Carns will be held at Parkview Christian Church in Orland Park, with the funeral scheduled for January 3, 2025. Services will all be held at Parkview Christian Church, 11100 Orland Parkway in Orland Park, Illinois. Visitation to take place Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 1 to 8 p.m., with a first responder walk-through at 6 p.m. Funeral service will be Friday, January 3, 2025, at 10 a.m. Private Interment to follow.
