Step into the spotlight, young basketball enthusiasts! The Knights of Columbus Council 4537 is gearing up to host the much-anticipated Free Throw Championship at Bureau Valley High School. Coming up on January 18, 2025, from 1 PM to 3 PM, this event invites boys and girls, aged 9 to 14, to showcase their free throw skills. Competitors will be grouped by age and gender, with distinct shooting distances for different groups—12 feet for ages 9 to 11, and the regulation 15 feet for those 12 to 14. Twelve victors will emerge, one from each category, promising an afternoon packed with sportsmanship and precision. Participation is free, and there are no residency requirements, so sharpen those shooting skills and join the fray!
