Residents may experience delays in trash and recycling collection today due to staffing and equipment challenges faced by the local waste management company, LRS. Scott Taylor from LRS has expressed concerns over completing all of today’s routes. Residents are advised to keep their bins at the curb, as missed collections are expected to be addressed tomorrow, January 3rd. LRS is working diligently to resolve the issue and will provide updates as the situation progresses. Please be patient and leave carts curbside for collection. There was no trash or recycling collection on Wednesday due to the New Year’s Day holiday. If your trash was missed earlier this week, call LRS in Macomb at 309-586-4410.
