The chilling case of 1-year-old Hezekiah Williams’s death unfolds as his death is being investigated as a homicide. Initially admitted to Carle Health Methodist in grave condition, the infant was later transferred to OSF Healthcare Saint Francis Medical Center, where despite the best medical efforts, he passed away on December 27, 2024. Early autopsy reports suggest the child suffered from severe physical abuse and neglect, prompting authorities to investigate this as a homicide. Two individuals, Tasheaunna R. Williams, 26, and Nausicca Thomas, 27, were arrested on January 10th in connection with his death, facing charges including aggravated battery and endangering the life and health of a child.
