Illinois Valley Community College has revealed that Tamra Challacombe will star as Dolly Levi in their upcoming production of the musical ‘Hello, Dolly!’. Known for her rich experience in theater, Challacombe will lead a dynamic cast composed of both students and community members. The performances are scheduled from April 3rd through the 13th. For those interested in catching this vibrant staging, tickets will be available for purchase online beginning March 3rd, promising a showcase of local talent and a classic musical charm.
“In a way, she is already a ‘Dolly,’” Zellmer said. “I’m so very happy to be able to work with Tamra again – all these years after we first performed together. She is the consummate professional triple-threat, warm and wonderful, and no one is a stranger for very long. I think everyone involved is going to not only enjoy working with a guest artist, but learn a lot and have a ball doing it!”
