Bradley Solberg Returns to Geneseo as Interim CEO of Hammond-Henry Hospital

Hammond-Henry Hospital in Geneseo has announced the appointment of Bradley Solberg as Interim CEO, effective February 12, 2025. Solberg, a familiar face, previously led the hospital from 2001 to 2014, a period marked by major construction projects and growth. Board Chairman Doug Ford highlighted Solberg’s proven leadership and dedication to advancing community health. This interim role comes at a pivotal time for the hospital as it continues to serve the Geneseo area. Solberg’s return brings experience and stability, ensuring the hospital remains a cornerstone of healthcare in the region.

“As many remember, Brad is a dynamic leader, dedicated to the health and welfare of this and any community he serves,” said Doug Ford, HHH Board Chairman. “I am happy he has decided to assist us in this transition as our Interim CEO.”

Mr. Solberg led the hospital through three major construction projects during his tenure at Hammond-Henry Hospital, the most recent one valued at $23 million, constructed over 30 months, and was completed in December 2012.

After leaving the Geneseo area, he served as President of OSF HealthCare Saint James-John W. Albrecht Medical Center in Pontiac. He recently served as Interim President of OSF HealthCare Sacred Heart Medical Center, Danville, and in the past has served in various hospital leadership roles in Ohio, Michigan, and North Dakota.

Bradley Solberg is an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Healthcare Administration at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, and received his Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota.
