Illinois Valley Community College is stepping it up with the return of dance lessons to its Continuing Education program. Starting February 6, 2025, beginners can enroll in the Wedding Reception Survival class to master those must-know moves, while advanced dancers can sharpen their swing techniques. Both classes, priced at $75, require participants to sign up with a partner. Whether you’re preparing for a special event or just looking to add some rhythm to your routine, these classes offer a fun and engaging way to hit the dance floor. Classes are on Thursdays from February 6th through March 13th. Both sessions are taught by Rod and Jane Schomas, who later this spring will also offer beginning swing and salsa lessons.
For further information or to enroll, visit www.ivcc.edu/enroll or call the Continuing Education Center at 815-224-0427. Dancers must enroll with a partner.
