Teresa Krause is the Volunteer of the Month for February 2025 and has been making a difference at the Geneseo-Atkinson Food Pantry since August. Working in the clothing room, she warmly greets customers, sorts donations, and assists guests in finding what they need. Married to Steve, with six children and 17 grandchildren, Teresa stays busy with her love for reading, gardening, cooking, and traveling. She’s also deeply involved in ministries at First Methodist Church. After retiring, Teresa chose to give back to her community by helping those in need. One memorable moment was assisting a man starting from scratch, providing him with housewares for his new apartment. His gratitude touched her heart, reflecting the impact of her selfless service.
