Centered on the theme “Achieving more with togetherness and love,” the event promises a vibrant celebration of culture and community. Highlights include performances by high school choirs, soul-stirring music from local churches, and educational displays that honor Black history. Local officials and community leaders will join in the festivities, making it a true gathering of unity and inspiration.

The event celebrates the contributions of African Americans in the community and beyond. Attendees can enjoy educational displays, choir performances, and an essay contest with prizes sponsored by the Kewanee Commission on Human Relations. Refreshments will be served after the program.
