Bureau County Farm Bureau Celebrates “What Agriculture Means to Me” Placemat Design Contest Winners

The Bureau County Farm Bureau has revealed the winners of its 10th Annual Placemat Design Contest. Taking the prestigious Best of Show award was Brynleigh Bickett, while Avery Ross clinched Best Use of Theme out of 155 entries. These young artists were applauded for their creativity and insights at the Salute to Ag Breakfast, a highlight of National Ag Week celebrations. The event gathers the community to honor agriculture’s vital role, with the placemat designs exemplifying the spirit and importance of farming. The contest continues to encourage and cultivate an appreciation for the agricultural sector among the youth.
