Officer Parker, the courageous K9 of the Colona Police Department, has been diagnosed with cancer. Currently receiving top-notch care at Creekside Veterinary Hospital, Davenport, he continues to work while undergoing chemotherapy treatments. The compassionate Oakwood Veterinary Clinic in Colona has generously donated his veterinary care. However, the cost of Parker’s chemotherapy medication remains a challenge. Supporters are encouraged to assist by donating to the City of Colona K9 Fund via the Colona Police Department. Funds exceeding Parker’s needs will support the K9 program. Parker, his handler Sgt. Dusenberry and their families need our thoughts and prayers during this challenging time.
“As always we are extremely grateful for the veterinarian care donated by Oakwood Veterinary Clinic in Colona as well as the loving and compassionate care Officer Parker receives from staff there.”
If you would like to donate to Officer Parker’s care, please make donations to the Colona Police Department. Checks should be made out to the “City of Colona K9 Fund.”
“We ask that you please keep Officer Parker, his handler Sgt. Dusenberry, his blue family and his family at home in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this very difficult journey with him.”
