The Kewanee High School Band and Choir have scooped the first-place IHSA Sweepstakes Championship and were celebrated with a pride walk at Kewanee High School on Monday, April 14, 2025. Congratulations, KHS on your back-to-back wins! You can show your support for their impressive achievement on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, when the band and choir will be bussed by Kewanee Schools. They will begin at Belle Alexander and finish at Central School. The parade begins around 1:50 PM. We will be live on our Facebook page as they drive by the RegionalMediaNews studios.
