William Ly and Katelyn Attig have distinguished themselves as outstanding students, earning the title of Student of the Year for the Kewanee Elks Lodge. They emerged at the top from a pool of 150 candidates in their respective categories. Their exceptional accomplishments propelled them to the district level, where both secured first-place honors. The journey didn’t stop there—at the state competition, Katelyn claimed first place while William was awarded second. Along with their recognition, they each received certificates and scholarship awards at every stage, highlighting their dedication and academic excellence, as well as their community involvement.
