According to Dr. Jeremy Thomas, college president, this achievement reflects the daily commitment of faculty and staff to create an environment where both students and employees thrive. The anonymous survey revealed strong marks in community, teamwork, and trust in leadership. Human resources director Vince Luley emphasized ongoing efforts to build on these strengths, ensuring Black Hawk College remains an attractive destination for talented professionals.

“This certification is a testament to our dedicated faculty and staff who work every day to create an environment where students can thrive and employees feel valued,” said Dr. Jeremy Thomas, Black Hawk College president. “Our people are the heart of our success,” he said.

“This recognition validates the work we’ve done over the past two years to build a culture based on trust, collaboration and opportunity,” said Vince Luley, director of human resources.

“We’re committed to continuing this momentum and ensuring that Black Hawk remains a place where people want to build their careers,” Luley said.
