Great Dane LLC has once again demonstrated its commitment to the Kewanee community, presenting a generous donation to the Kewanee Area United Way. This ongoing partnership enables critical support for 15 local nonprofits that provide services like home-delivered meals, housing, help with utilities, guaranteeing that those who need food in this area will receive it, educational needs, youth programs that build character and strength, tutoring, counseling, shelter for victims of abuse, coordination of responses to violence for children interacting with the legal systems, and increasing handicap access to homes in Henry County. The backing from Great Dane LLC extends beyond routine giving, having played a pivotal role in disaster relief efforts following last year’s tornadoes and helping distribute vital supplies during the pandemic. Today’s contribution stands as a continuation of Great Dane’s longstanding dedication to strengthening the very fabric of Kewanee and Henry County.

“Without the donations of deeply invested businesses like Great Dane, the services provided for those who need them would not be available. It is with deep gratitude that KAUW received the corporate donation of Great Dane, LLC this morning at the Great Dane facility in Kewanee.”

“It is also a foundational partner in the funding of other programs and outreach through Kewanee Area United Way, such as the summer mental health programs aired on Regional Media previously.”
