The Kewanee Middle FFA chapter received special recognition as a newly chartered chapter during the 97th Illinois FFA State Convention in Springfield. With over 7,000 members, advisors, and guests in attendance, the event celebrated notable achievements across the state. In addition to honoring new and established chapters, the convention held elections for state officers and provided opportunities for students to connect with representatives from colleges and major agribusinesses. The celebration underscores the growing impact of youth agricultural education in Illinois and highlights the expanding role of FFA in preparing students for future careers in agriculture. Notably, Levi Hoopes, Jonah Janey, and Layne Ince represented Kewanee Middle FFA in the Farm Credit Newsroom for this milestone.
