Roadwork is set to cause rolling, one-lane closures on several sections of Bureau County highways starting Tuesday, July 1st, at 7 AM. Projects will begin on Dover Blacktop, also known as County Highway 27, and will move north from Route 34 to 2200 North Avenue. Work will continue along 2200 North Avenue, County Highway 12, from Dover Blacktop to Route 26, and then proceed on Zearing Blacktop, County Highway 7, through Zearing to Angling Road. Closures will remain in effect through Thursday, July 3rd. Additional updates about potential extensions or breaks in the schedule will follow as details develop. Motorists should expect delays.
