The Kewanee Park District and Baker Park Golf Course are preparing to celebrate their centennial anniversary, marking a full century since they first welcomed players on July 4, 1925. As part of the festivities, free golf will be offered on July 4, 2025. Tee times are available from 7 AM until 2 PM, although golfers should note that cart fees are not included in the offer. Organizers encourage both long-time regulars and newcomers to join in commemorating this milestone. The celebration pays tribute to the course’s longstanding presence and history in the community over the past one hundred years.
