The Kewanee Hispanic Heritage Committee is inviting the community to enjoy a taste of tradition at the Hecho En Casa Hot Dog Fundraiser on July 5th, beginning at 5:30 PM, at 203 North Tremont Street in Kewanee. On the menu: regular, Mexican-style, and cheese hot dogs, each served with an array of flavorful toppings. Proceeds from every purchase are dedicated to funding next year’s Hispanic Heritage celebration, set for September 27, 2025. Organizers encourage residents to stop by, enjoy a meal, and support cultural festivities that showcase Kewanee’s vibrant Latino community.
