State Senator Li Arellano, Jr., will be in Princeton on Wednesday, July 9th, partnering with the Illinois State Treasurer’s Office to host an ICASH event from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Prouty-Zearing Community Building, located at 435 South Main Street. Residents are invited to find out if they have unclaimed property, such as forgotten bank accounts, uncashed checks, or even safe deposit box contents, and to get help filing a claim. More than $2 billion in assets have already been returned to Illinoisans since 2015 through this program, providing real value and reconnecting people with their rightful assets.
“I encourage everyone to stop by our ICASH event. You might be surprised to find the state owes you money,” said State Senator Arellano. “These events are a great opportunity to reconnect people with assets they may have forgotten about, and it’s one of the many ways we’re working to deliver real value to our communities.”
