Join Snackle Box Classes for Healthy Snacking in Bureau County

Illinois Extension, in partnership with local Farm Bureaus, is offering a series of Snackle Box Classes across Bureau, Marshall-Putnam, and LaSalle counties. These sessions are designed for both adults and children, focusing on creating convenient and healthy snack boxes for busy days. Seating is limited, and pre-registration is necessary to participate. Organizers encourage anyone interested in learning about nutritious snacking options to sign up soon.

These interactive sessions focus on teaching participants how to assemble nutritious snack boxes—a fun and educational opportunity for both adults and children aged five and up. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, ensuring a family-friendly atmosphere. Each class is capped at 30 participants, and advance registration is necessary due to limited seating.
