Illinois Valley Community College is inviting prospective students to its upcoming open house on July 22nd, from 2 to 3:30 PM. The event will be held at the Dr. Mary Margaret Weeg Cultural Centre. Attendees can expect a comprehensive campus tour, the chance to meet faculty from various departments, and the opportunity to learn more about available academic programs. It will begin with a student panel, where attendees can hear firsthand accounts of campus and academic life, along with practical advice for a successful college journey. Following the panel, visitors can explore an information fair featuring faculty and coordinators ready to answer questions about programs and services. The afternoon also includes campus tours, on-the-spot application assistance, T-shirt giveaways, and snacks. Details and registration are available on the college website. Fall classes begin on August 18, 2025.
