The Kewanee Kiwanis Aktion Club has launched a new service project to support the Annawan Project Pride Food Pantry. Community members are encouraged to donate non-perishable food and paper products, with the greatest need for toilet paper, paper towels, and Kleenex. Donations can be dropped off at Abilities Plus, located at 1100 N. East Street in Kewanee. Contributions will be accepted now through August 29th during regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM. Residents are encouraged to contribute what they can to help stock the shelves and provide essential resources for neighbors facing food insecurity. Every donation, large or small, helps make a difference.
