Signs posted on each side of the Kent Street railroad crossing in Kewanee say the crossing will be closed by BNSF on Wednesday, September 3rd, beginning at 7 AM. We reached out to BNSF regarding the reason for the closure and the timeframe for the closure, but have not heard back as of midnight on September 3rd.
