Festival 56 is launching a brand-new music series, Festival 56 Sound Stage, for its 2025/2026 off-season at The Grace Theater in Princeton, Illinois. Four distinct acts will take the stage, beginning September 20 with BEYOND the STARS, a folk-rock duo known for narrative-driven performances and lush harmonies. Follow-up shows feature Jaden Decker on October 11, UpByN00n on November 8, and Ava Easter on January 24, 2026, covering genres from country to pop-punk.

Folk-rock and storytelling duo BEYOND the STARS will open the Sound Stage season this Saturday at 7 pm. Comprised of TM Shaw and Christina Eltrevoog, their sound blends vocal harmonies and the interplay of guitar with electric piano, drawing inspiration from their ongoing partnership, which began with a fateful conversation in Los Angeles. Their 2024 debut album, “ONE PLANET,” showcases versatility across multiple genres and has taken them on tour from the Midwest to Hawaii. Christina Eltrevoog is also known for her work with The Belle Rangers and The Morning Larks and for hosting Fresh from the Midwest, a regional songwriter festival.

Individual tickets are available for $15 and can be purchased online at festival56.com or by calling the box office at 815-879-5656. For those interested in attending multiple shows, the theater offers a Sound Stage Pass—purchase four tickets and enjoy a $10 savings under the subscription tab on the website.
