Illinois Valley Community College is set to host two transfer day events on October 9 and 23, 2025. The gatherings will feature representatives from more than 30 public and private universities and colleges, providing a valuable opportunity for students considering their next academic steps.
State University Transfer Day will be held from 10 AM to 1 PM on Thursday, October 9th, at the Student Life Space. Students interested in transferring can meet with representatives from various state universities to learn about the application process, tuition, housing options, financial aid, and campus activities. Two weeks later, on Thursday, October 23rd, from 10 AM to 1 PM, the same venue will host Private Illinois Colleges and Universities Day. This event offers opportunities for students to ask questions and gather detailed information about private institutions across Illinois. Both days are designed to ease the transfer process and provide valuable insight.
