Trussen Family in Cambridge Raised $700 for Braveheart Children’s Advocacy Center with Annual Lemonade Stand

The spirit of community giving shines in Cambridge as the Trussen family once again rallies support for the Braveheart Children’s Advocacy Center. Hope Trussen and her family organized their annual lemonade stand, bringing neighbors together for a worthy cause. This year, their efforts resulted in a remarkable $700 raised to benefit children served by the center. The ongoing dedication of the Trussen family underscores the positive impact local families can have. Organizers at Braveheart Children’s Advocacy Center expressed heartfelt gratitude, noting that every donation helps provide crucial services and support for children in need throughout the region.

According to Hope Trussen’s Facebook post, over the past five years, these dedicated kids have raised and donated a total of $2,680 to causes in their community. Their fundraising journey began in 2021 with $240, increased to $600 in 2022, followed by $480 in 2023, and reached $660 in 2024. Their efforts continue strong in 2025, with $700 already contributed. Through bake sales, creative events, and teamwork, these young philanthropists are inspiring both their peers and adults to get involved and make a difference where it matters most.
