A new pathway to a private pilot license is taking off in Moline. Quad Cities Aero and Black Hawk College have partnered to launch the Professional Aeronautics Certificate program, designed in response to a national pilot shortage. The 45-hour course combines classroom lessons and flight training. Curious about an aviation career? An open house on October 15th from 5:30 to 7 PM at Quad Cities Aero will showcase the program, give attendees a look at the flight school, and offer the chance to meet industry professionals. The open house is at Quad Cities Aero, 3100 69th Ave., Moline (on the grounds of the Quad Cities International Airport). Seating is limited, and pizza will be served. RSVP is required online.

Classes will run from 6 to 9 PM every Wednesday, beginning January 21st through May 6th, at the Black Hawk College Quad-Cities Campus in Moline. Students will not only receive in-depth classroom instruction but also gain hands-on experience with practical training at Quad Cities Aero’s flight school. Those interested in the program or seeking further details can visit QuadCitiesAero.com/PAC for more information on enrollment and course offerings.
