The Kewanee Public Library is set to celebrate a remarkable milestone—its 150th anniversary—on October 8th, marked in tandem with the Opening Night of the KPLD Art Show at 6 PM. Attendees can look forward to an inspiring array of local artwork accompanied by refreshments. Young artists in 6th grade and below are invited to submit paintings or clay sculptures using materials available at the Youth Department during September. Older students and adults may submit their art between September 30th and October 2nd. The community art exhibit remains open to the public through October 15th.
