To: Ms Russell and the staff at Regional Media. Thank you very much for posting my press release as it was written. I want to let you all know that I provided a copy of my statement to a reporter with Shaw Media that I thought I could trust. Whether it was the reporter or his editor that decided to redact a large and important part of my statement, I do not know. However, I was extremely upset with how it was released. I put a lot of thought into words and it took some time to write. I appreciate the fact that you did not tear apart or edit my statement as other media outlets have. There were some things I thought important that I really needed to say, especially about my staff. I have been truly blessed for over 35 years to be a part of this office and I have the utmost respect for the people I have been able to work with.
