Kewanee residents are being urged to help stock the local food pantry as shelves grow empty and the need intensifies. Donations of non-perishable food such as cereal, canned vegetables, pasta, and soup are especially welcomed, along with hygiene products. Contributions can be dropped off at Crude Honey Hair Co., 102 Townsedge Rd., Suite 203, through the end of November. Each bag of goods earns an entry to win a gift basket featuring items from area businesses. Community members, whether pantry clients or not, are encouraged to take part and support their neighbors during these challenging times.
