The Abilities Plus Aktion Club is organizing a Thanksgiving dinner drive to assist local families in need. Community members are encouraged to contribute items like canned vegetables, boxed stuffing, and pie fillings. These donations can be brought to Abilities Plus, located at 1100 N. East Street in Kewanee. Monetary contributions are also welcome here and will be used to purchase turkeys for holiday meals. Organizers hope to reach as many families as possible, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to enjoy a full Thanksgiving dinner. The collection runs from November 3rd to 21st, offering residents multiple ways to spread holiday cheer this season.
