SHARE NOW

The Kewanee Public Library is inviting residents to make a meaningful impact this season by contributing non-perishable food items and monetary donations, all aimed at supporting the local food pantry. Contributions are being accepted at the library’s main floor circulation desk, starting November 11th through December 22nd. Among the top requested donations are canned meats, pasta, peanut butter, and personal care items such as toiletries. Organizers hope the drive will help ease the burden on community members facing food insecurity. Every donation, whether food or funds, will go directly to helping families in need this holiday season.

Organizers stress that behind every item is a neighbor, a friend, or a family making impossible choices. By coming together, even small gestures become powerful acts of hope. United, compassion becomes action—and this season, your donation could be the difference someone needs.
