The SCHS Student Council has reported an increased need for Thanksgiving Meal Baskets this year and is calling on the community for support. Both food and monetary donations are being accepted to ensure local families can enjoy a festive holiday meal. Contributions can be dropped off at the SCJSHS front office until Monday, November 24th. For questions or more information, contact [email protected]. Special recognition goes to Lucy Dot’s and Tanner’s Orchard for generously providing all desserts for the baskets. Every donation, big or small, will help keep the holiday spirit alive for those in need.
The SCHS Student Council is rallying support for their annual Thanksgiving Meal Basket initiative. The council is seeking food as well as monetary donations to help supply local families with everything needed for a special holiday meal. Requested items include turkey breasts, dinner rolls, gravy packets, boxed stuffing, potatoes, and canned vegetables, among others. Every donation helps ensure no family goes without a meal this Thanksgiving.
