Wethersfield High School is adding a sweet touch to football season on November 15th from noon to 2 PM. During the playoff quarterfinals, students from the National Honor Society, led by Abigail Cabada and Wavelynn Peart, are hosting a bake sale with a charitable twist. Every dollar earned from cookies, brownies, and other treats will support the Kewanee Food Pantry, helping families in need. Organizers say the initiative aims to unite fans and residents for a good cause, making Friday’s game about more than just football. Supporters are encouraged to stop by the bake sale table and contribute to strengthening the community.
Wethersfield National Honor Society members Parker Miskinis and Devon Horrie are hitting the field to play football, but are also selling Geese and Titans merchandise during the game. Each item is available for a donation—no set prices—thanks to generous contributions from community members. All funds raised will support the local food pantry during the holiday season. It’s a great chance to score unique gear, support a good cause, and cheer on the AW Titans as they challenge Lena Winslow. Don’t miss the action and the chance to give back!
