On Friday, November 21st, the annual Rock Falls Chamber of Commerce Hometown Holiday’s Event (Love Light and Christmas Walk ceremonies) will be held from 5pm-8pm.
There will be no parking in the Municipal Lot located at W. 1st St. and 1″ Ave. Parking will also be limited and restricted along W. 2nd St. from 1″ Ave to 5th Ave during the festivities.
Closures of the Municipal lot will begin around 7:00am and closures of W. 2nd St. will begin around 2:30pm. These areas should be open for regular service around 9:00pm.
Barricades will be set up in these areas. Vehicles parked in these areas may be subject to towing if not moved. Do not drive around or move any barricades.
Parking will be available at the Firehouse Fire Museum parking lot located 403 W. 2nd St., Rock Falls, IL 61071. Access to this lot can be made off 4th or 5th Ave.
