Five seniors from Kewanee High School’s Varsity Cheerleading Squad and four seniors from the Varsity Dance Team are headed to Honolulu, Hawaii, where they’ll perform in the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade from December 3rd to 8th. Representing Varsity Spirit, Katy Carton, Gabby Hampton, Kalleigh Gale, Brooklyn Schiltz, Claire Taylor, Anna Chabanenko, Emmalee Kilstrom, Paige Polowy, and Sophie Raes will join teams from across the nation in honoring the memory of Pearl Harbor. The parade is on December 8, 2025, at 11 PM (Central Time). The Kewanee community celebrates its achievement, recognizing these students not only for their talent but also for their pride and leadership on a national stage. They’ll join other top student performers from around the country to pay tribute to veterans during the parade.
