Students at Illinois Valley Community College now have a streamlined path to scholarship opportunities, thanks to an upgraded online application process. As of December 5, current and prospective students can easily apply for a share of more than $350,000 in Foundation scholarships with just one form. Awards, available across a wide range of study areas and ranging from $500 to $4,500, will be announced in May for use during the 2026-2027 school year. While a FAFSA form isn’t required for eligibility, students are encouraged to complete one. The application portal remains open until February 5, 2026, at ivcc.awardspring.com. According to Foundation Executive Director Tracy Beattie, students should take time now to apply, as the process only happens once a year.
