Members of the Kewanee Police and Fire Departments joined together today to shop for Christmas presents for children in the Project Now Head Start program. The Angel Tree at Walmart was cleared of all wish tags, reflecting an outpouring of generosity from the community. Amber Patch-Troxell provided a list of remaining gift needs, allowing first responders to pick up additional presents and ensure even more children will experience holiday joy. This collaboration highlights a remarkable spirit of giving and support in Kewanee, making the season a little brighter for local families. Holiday cheer continues to grow in this caring community.
