Kewanee Elks #724 has recognized Aleigha Witte and Ethan DeMay as the November Teens of the Month. Both seniors at Annawan High School, Aleigha, daughter of Curt and Tina Witte, is in the top 10% of their class with a 3.64 GPA. She has excelled in academics, sports, and FFA activities. She’s active in student council, yearbook, and community events such as basketball and volleyball camps and Memorial Day flag ceremonies. Ethan, son of Terry and Tracy DeMay, holds the top class rank with a 4.106 GPA. His honors include serving as class and student council president, National Honor Society, FFA treasurer, and participating in the Scholastic Team. He’s also involved in community service at the Anderson Consignment Sale. Their achievements highlight an outstanding commitment to academics and local service.

Aleigha is a senior at Annawan High School and is the daughter of Curt & Tina Witte. Her GPA is 3.64, which places her in the top 10% of her class, and she was on the High Honor Roll for 4 years. She has a 3-year achievement in the National Honor Society, FFA Land Use, and basketball. She has a 2-year achievement in All-Conference Academics in basketball and volleyball, served as Student Council Treasurer, attended the FFA National Convention, and was on Student Council, trap shooting, and livestock judging. She has a 1-year achievement in the 5.0 Club Volleyball Bravette Award, the Varsity Basketball Super Bolt Award, Yearbook Staff, the FCA Greenhand Degree, Chapter FFA, and Horticulture. Her community service includes volunteering at FFA events, basketball camps, volleyball camps, reading nights, carnivals, tractor pulls, Memorial Day flag events, and freshman orientation.
